Description

You will verify and validate software for complex system interactions across medical device components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated verification protocols, including designing test scenarios and authoring test cases.
• Verify the software platform, focusing on user interface, performance, reliability, safety, and interoperability.
• Review product and software requirements to guide testing efforts and ensure alignment.
• Document observed issues with detail, assisting in reproducing and analyzing potential defects.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for the Software Assurance function.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in software testing within medical device or regulated industry.
• Thorough knowledge of the software testing lifecycle and ability to design and execute test protocols.
• Foundation coding skills in Python, Java, or C#.
• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle processes, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Technical writing ability to create clear documentation for various audiences.
• Experience with Git, Jira, Jenkins, Tosca, or Squish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer, Electronics, or Biomedical preferred) or equivalent Any Graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to designing medical device software adhering to FDA Design Controls, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304.
• Working knowledge of OS such as Windows or Linux flavors.
