Description

You will validate connected services features and ensure the functional and non-functional quality of global connected services, IoT, and OTA systems for trucks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAPL scripts to simulate messages on the CAN bus using the J1939 protocol.
• Design test strategies, plans, and cases for E2E, regression, and system acceptance testing.
• Lead triage calls with OEMs and suppliers to drive defect resolution and reproduction in ALM/HP QC.
• Drive requirements-driven testing to ensure 100% traceability across development, testing, and defects.
• Lead cross-functional efforts for test estimation, execution planning, and scoping for OTA and remote diagnostics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Electrical, or Communications fields.
• Expertise in CAN Bus communication, monitoring CAN traffic, node acknowledgements, and diagnostic messages.
• Proficiency in Automotive protocols including CAN, J1939, and UDS.
• Hands-on experience with Vector CANoe and writing CAPL scripts.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols including MQTT, SSL, and SSH.
• Experience with Linux, Android OS, and using ADB commands.
• Ability to use OBD tools for ECU flashing.
• Practical knowledge of Docker containers.
• Bachelor's degree in programming, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Programming experience in C# or Python.
• Experience with API testing and using Raspberry Pi.
