You will develop and maintain the user interface for critical state systems, ensuring accessibility and scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, document, and maintain a scalable design system and reusable component library using USWDS or similar enterprise standards.
• Develop high-level wrapper components using HTML, SASS, and Angular for web applications and the River AI Chatbot.
• Ensure all components and UI patterns meet WCAG 2.1/AAA accessibility standards via semantic HTML and ARIA roles.
• Use Storybook for component development, documentation, and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Participate in code reviews, accessibility audits, and UX discussions to maintain front-end asset quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong expertise in WCAG 2.1/AAA standards, ARIA roles, and semantic HTML.
• Proficiency in HTML, SASS, and Angular.
• Proven ability to set up and integrate enterprise design systems (e.g., USWDS).
• Experience using Storybook for component development and documentation.
• Strong understanding of UX best practices and accessible interface design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with .NET, MVC, and SQL.
• Any Graduate degree.
