Description

You will bridge the gap between design and engineering through technical prototyping and systems development.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-functioning prototypes to test reflow, accessibility, data structure, and styling.
• Build low-functioning prototypes to validate and test user experiences.
• Research and develop tooling and plugins to improve design workflows and local design systems.
• Maintain design system variables and their integration into the design and development processes.
• Collaborate with accessibility engineers to ensure solutions meet established standards.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience with web technologies and client-side web frameworks.
• 5-10 years of experience using version control systems.
• Experience with interface design tools including Sketch and Figma.
• 3-5 years of experience building accessible applications and understanding accessible technology.
• Experience building rich UI-based applications.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO Design.
• In-depth understanding of browser rendering and UX best practices.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with design systems.
• Experience with animation software such as After Effects.
