Description

Design and implement large-scale virtualization and cloud infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers. You will own the technical architecture, proof-of-concept validation, and migration strategies for on-prem to cloud Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) transitions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC/AVS), NSX-T, and vSphere environments for strategic clients.
• Conduct technical workshops and proof-of-concept testing to validate network designs and product capabilities.
• Author high-level designs, low-level designs, and MOP runbooks for complex infrastructure deployments.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support for complex network and virtualization issues.
• Advise customers on security best practices, SDDC migration paths, and competitive solution comparisons.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect or Systems Engineer in core virtualization domains.
• Deep expertise with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX-T, and VMware Cloud on AWS.
• Proven ability to architect on-premises to cloud SDDC migrations.
• Strong command of TCP/IP protocol stacks and enterprise network design principles.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting complex virtualized network environments.
• Technical certifications such as VCAP Design/Deploy or VCDX are required or strongly preferred.
• Hands-on proficiency with Linux administration and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of VMware vSAN, SASE, and Workspace ONE.
• Familiarity with security stacks, threat prevention, and mitigation strategies.
