Description

Design, deploy, and manage VMware Horizon VDI solutions to meet operational requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy VMware Horizon solutions aligned with business needs.
• Configure and optimize Horizon components including Connection Servers, Unified Access Gateways, App Volumes, and DEM.
• Maintain the Horizon environment to ensure high availability and performance.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for complex VDI issues and conduct root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure with at least 3 years hands-on VMware Horizon experience.
• Expertise in VMware Horizon components (Connection Servers, UAG, App Volumes, DEM).
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, specifically VMware vSphere and ESXi.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
• Experience with networking concepts: VLANs, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Familiarity with PowerShell and Python scripting.
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
• Experience with cloud-based VDIs on Azure or AWS.
