Description

You will serve as a subject matter expert for WebSphere administration and system integration within multi-tier, multi-platform enterprise environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform WebSphere upgrades, patches, security fixes, and deployments on AIX/Linux.
• Administer RabbitMQ, MuleSoft, and Red Hat OpenShift clusters, including security and automation.
• Manage application deployment across on-prem and cloud environments including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Monitor system performance using Splunk or Dynatrace and conduct root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of total IT experience, including 8+ years in WebSphere administration.
• 3+ years of experience working with State or Federal Government agencies.
• 3+ years of experience in RabbitMQ administration and managing application security products.
• 3+ years of experience advising IT teams on emerging technologies.
• 2+ years of experience in MuleSoft, Red Hat OpenShift, and cloud products (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with Unix/Linux administration and network architecture for application integration.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines including Ansible, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, and Bitbucket.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with web servers such as Apache, IBM HTTP Server, or IIS.
