Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of middleware and web server applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot applications on web servers and middleware application servers.
• Set up vertical, horizontal, and hybrid clustered environments to ensure scalability and high availability.
• Deploy applications, migrate process servers, and configure Web Services for SOA integration.
• Create scripts to automate tasks and analyze log files or thread dumps to resolve application issues.
• Perform performance tuning and manage security and performance optimizations via LDAP.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in systems administration or related middleware roles.
• Expertise with WebSphere Portal Server (WPS) and BPM.
• Hands-on experience with JBoss and MQ.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting.
• Experience managing Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 databases.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with AIX, Windows, Linux, and IIS environments.
• Ability to use Jython, JACL, JSP, and Web Services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring less experienced team members.
