Description

This role focuses on automating and validating complex Wi-Fi network functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Automate functional and performance testing for 802.11 Wi-Fi systems.
  • Validate roaming protocols (802.11k/v/r) across mesh and extender deployments.
  • Test core networking services including DHCP, RADIUS, and TCP/IP stack behavior.
  • Utilize industry-standard Wi-Fi testing tools for deep protocol validation.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in wireless network testing or automation.
  • Expert proficiency in Python for test automation scripting.
  • Deep understanding of 802.11 standards, RF fundamentals, and wireless security.
  • Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi tools: VeriWave, IXIA, Spirent, Wireshark, Omnipeek.
  • Solid grasp of TCP/IP, DHCP, and RADIUS protocols.
  • Experience testing modern Wi-Fi standards (6/6E/7).
  • Proficiency in shell scripting.
