Description

Manage and optimize Windows-based infrastructure and critical SQL systems in a hybrid capacity.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022) including patching and security hardening.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services.
• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments, including query optimization and scripting.
• Implement and support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Produce documentation for system configurations, procedures, and change controls.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Windows system administration within mid to large-scale environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server installation, maintenance, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience with VMware and Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies including Nutanix.
• Understanding of network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Master's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes.
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Hybrid Server Administrator or Administrator Associate.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
