Description

You will manage, maintain, and troubleshoot a global wireless network infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support wireless design and initiatives alongside Network Architects.
• Troubleshoot global wireless issues using infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Serve as a Tier-2/3 escalation point for complex technical problems.
• Lead implementation of new wireless services and document components in run-books.
• Monitor, analyze, and report metrics for wireless solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience with IEEE 802.11 standards, encryption, WIIDS, rogue detection, 802.1x, RADIUS, and EAP-TLS.
• Extensive experience with Aruba Networks (AOS8, Aruba I/AP, ClearPass, Airwave), Mist, and Meraki.
• Proficiency with Ekahau, Spectrum Analyzers, and Protocol Analyzers.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP layer protocols and RF engineering for wireless planning.
• Experience supporting wireless voice and video applications.
• Ability to develop scripts for automating infrastructure deployment and metric collection.
• Proficiency in Splunk, Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work onsite in Palo Alto daily.
• Availability for occasional weekend, after-hours, or holiday work.
