Description

Design, engineer, and manage z/VM and zLinux infrastructure to support business systems and IaaS/PaaS services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement migration from z/VM and zLinux platforms to LinuxOne KVM.
• Manage infrastructure and operational platforms to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
• Write, debug, test, and deploy automation code to optimize environments.
• Analyze existing systems to enhance scalability, reliability, and interoperability.
• Resolve infrastructure incidents and provide expert troubleshooting for complex system issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems programming or infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with VMware.
• Strong proficiency in Linux environments.
• Experience designing and engineering IaaS and PaaS foundational components.
• Ability to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments.
• Proven capability in writing and debugging automation code.
• Experience performing root-cause analysis and systematic troubleshooting.
