Description

You will provide front-office application support, resolving technical issues to ensure trading operations run smoothly.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption to trading activities.
• Collaborate with traders and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automation and system monitoring.
• Participate in incident response, problem management, and continuous stability improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application support, preferably within a DevOps or SRE model.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Working knowledge of GitHub for version control and Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with RDBMS and executing complex SQL queries.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Geneos, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Knowledge of job scheduling tools like Autosys or Control-M.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certification and knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Financial product knowledge including Fixed Income, Derivatives, Bonds, Treasuries, FX, Equities, or Credit Risk.
