Architect and design highly available, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure and application patterns on AWS. Define SRE best practices, SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to ensure operational readiness and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure patterns on AWS.
• Define and evangelize SRE standards for service design, deployment, and operational readiness.
• Lead the definition and implementation of Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Error Budgets.
• Design automation solutions to reduce operational toil and enhance system reliability.
• Act as a senior technical advisor, providing architectural guidance and leading production readiness assessments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in an architectural role focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Deep practical application of SRE principles including SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and toil reduction.
• Expertise in AWS cloud computing, including infrastructure, networking, and security services.
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless.
• Solid experience designing observability solutions using Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack, Jaeger, or OpenTelemetry.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tool development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and implementing chaos engineering practices and platforms.
