Description

You will architect and define the reliability strategy across the engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Architect highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure patterns on AWS.
• Define and evangelize SRE best practices, standards, and blueprints for service design and deployment.
• Review observability implementations to identify gaps and drive maturity in system health insights.
• Design solutions to systematically reduce operational toil through automation and improved system design.
• Lead blameless postmortems for major incidents, prioritizing systemic architectural improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in an architectural role designing for reliability and scalability.
• Deep practical knowledge of SRE principles, including SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and toil reduction.
• Expertise in AWS cloud computing services.
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid experience implementing observability solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, or OpenTelemetry.
• Strong programming or scripting skills in Python or Go for automation.
• Excellent analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and implementing chaos engineering practices.
