You will architect and drive reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across the engineering organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design highly available, scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure patterns on AWS.
• Define and evangelize SRE best practices, standards, and blueprints for service design and deployment.
• Lead the definition and implementation strategy for Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Error Budgets.
• Design solutions to systematically reduce operational toil through automation and improved system design.
• Lead blameless postmortems for significant incidents, ensuring systemic architectural improvements are prioritized.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of proven experience in an architectural role designing for reliability and performance.
• Deep understanding and practical application of SRE principles (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, toil reduction).
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS infrastructure, networking, and security services.
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid experience designing and implementing observability solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace).
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tool development.
• Proven ability to provide architectural guidance and technical leadership on reliability and scalability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and implementing chaos engineering practices and platforms.
