Description

You will architect the modernization path for mainframe development workloads, bridging legacy systems with modern application stacks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design interfaces between mainframe systems and Java/.NET applications.
• Implement and manage mainframe DevOps and SRE tooling strategies.
• Guide the modernization of overall mainframe development practices.
• Design and oversee ETL processes within the mainframe environment.
• Present technical designs and architectural recommendations to senior management.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience.
• Expertise in IBM Mainframe tools and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with ADDI and zDIH.
• Proficiency in ETL processes.
• Familiarity with zOSConnect API.
• Experience implementing Kafka on Mainframe.
• Proven experience with Mainframe SRE principles.
• Ability to design integrations between mainframe and modern application stacks.
