Description

You will design and manage microservices architectures and infrastructure automation for enterprise retail platforms on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage production environments on AWS, implementing high availability strategies including GeoDNS and multi-datacenter failover.
• Own infrastructure automation and drive development of new cloud platform features.
• Support the Agile lifecycle through monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity analysis.
• Administer Linux systems and configure Unix services such as NFS, NTP, Apache, and nginx.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and AWS platforms.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and Unix services.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Objective-C, Android, C, or related languages.
• Experience with automation and provisioning frameworks like Chef or Puppet.
• Competency in scripting languages including Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, or PHP.
• Kubernetes and Jenkins for containerization and build automation.
• Experience managing large-scale databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Hadoop.
• Familiarity with caching strategies using Redis, Memcached, or Varnish.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring stacks like ELK, SumoLogic, Nagios, or Graphite.
• Knowledge of performance analysis tools such as NewRelic, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
