Description

Design and implement SRE practices and monitoring solutions across the application and cloud service lifecycle.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause investigations and proactively identify system anomalies using observability tools.
• Design SRE dashboards and manage error budgets based on SLIs, SLOs, and CUJs.
• Automate manual, repetitive tasks within the SDLC to reduce TOIL and increase organizational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure software releases are well-designed, planned, and monitored.
• Define the SRE approach for products by assessing current solutions and implementing IaC and automation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SRE or related engineering roles.
• Expertise in Dynatrace, Splunk, and Elastic Stack for real-time monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in AWS Cloud and infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Strong experience with Python and various scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible Tower and container orchestration.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD practices using Git, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Workflows.
• Technical proficiency in .NET, SQL, and React.
• Practical knowledge of performance engineering and Solarwinds DPA.
• Solid grasp of SRE principles including error budgeting, SLOs, and SLIs.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Jenkins and similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience applying AIOps principles to automation workflows.
