Description

You will lead automation SRE efforts to design and implement end-to-end self-healing solutions that reduce manual toil.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement self-healing automation to improve system reliability and scalability.
• Provide technical direction for monitoring and logging to junior staff.
• Develop complex original solutions for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Create and modify technical documentation, including environment flows and functional/non-functional requirements.
• Drive strategic imperatives based on analytical findings and system performance.

Required Skills

• 9 to 12 years of experience leading Automation SRE teams.
• 4 to 6 years of hands-on SRE implementation experience focused on monitoring system development.
• Advanced proficiency with Ansible and Python.
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix, Shell scripting, and DevOps SRE practices.
• Expertise in observability tools including Splunk, Big Panda, and AppDynamics.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and event detection on distributed platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting using Java or Curl.
• Advanced working knowledge of two or more: Windows Server, Oracle, MSSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with batch schedulers such as AutoSys, CRON, or Windows Scheduler.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Elastic Search (ELK), Google Cloud Logging, Grafana, Prometheus, or Thousand Eyes.
