Description

You will own the engineering and operational aspects of our cloud infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement scalable Infrastructure as Code strategies with a focus on modularization.
• Establish and maintain organizational cloud policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure maximal infrastructure uptime through monitoring, alerting, and on-call support.
• Lead compliance efforts and manage relationships with cloud service providers.
• Maintain Architecture Decision Records for the cloud platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or SRE.
• Proficiency in major cloud platforms, with Azure experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tooling such as Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters (K8S, K3S) and containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts including VPCs, routing, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture tooling like Pub/Sub and Kafka.
• Experience with ITSM processes covering Change, Knowledge, and Incident Management.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM and encryption.
