Description

You will act as a technical consultant managing the full software development life cycle, from requirement elicitation to application architecture and design.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for specific modules.
• Lead validation for all testing types and support implementation, transition, and warranty phases.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring incidents.
• Partner with development teams to ensure operational readiness for new products and features.
• Monitor system quality measures, including SLOs and SLAs, to drive reliability and productivity.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Information Technology experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Kibana, or Grafana.
• Ability to collect performance data, troubleshoot, and tune systems.
• Strong skills in documenting changes following established controls and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, or equivalent progressive experience.
• Must be located within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec, or willing to relocate.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading transformational change in SRE OPS using Python-based practices.
• Hands-on experience creating Splunk or New Relic dashboards.
