Description

You will own the reliability and performance of distributed systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Improve platform health by proactively spotting bottlenecks and areas for enhancement.
• Build and maintain dashboards using APM tools and configure alerts.
• Collaborate with Security, Networking, and Infrastructure teams to address platform resilience challenges.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell Scripting and Ansible playbooks.
• Manage and troubleshoot distributed systems involving relational and NoSQL databases.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• 4+ years focused on Site Reliability Engineering practices.
• Hands-on expertise with APM tools including Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, GCL, or ELK.
• Experience with distributed systems, including Kafka, MQ, and caching tools (Redis, memcache).
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting and DevOps tools like Ansible, including YAML.
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift) or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with Java/J2EE (Spring/Spring Boot) and Python.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
