Description

You will manage production environments across AWS and other cloud PaaS layers for enterprise systems, owning infrastructure automation and platform feature development.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own automation of the infrastructure platform and drive feature development for the cloud platform.
• Support and maintain web applications using JavaScript and Java.
• Implement and tune caching strategies using CDN, Redis, and MemCached.
• Apply high availability strategies using tools like haproxy and GeoDNS.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in SRE and DevOps.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Java for web application support.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and EC2.
• Familiarity with REST APIs using XML and JSON.
• Database experience with MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with automation tools like Jenkins, Chef, or Puppet.
