Own platform health and resiliency through proactive monitoring, alerting, and infrastructure automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain dashboards using APM tools to monitor distributed system health.
• Configure alerts and investigate incidents using Splunk, GCL, and ELK.
• Manage dynamic resources in Kubernetes, OpenShift, or AWS/Azure environments.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible and shell scripting.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Networking teams to resolve platform challenges.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years in Site Reliability Engineering with focus on platform health.
• Hands-on expertise with APM tools: Splunk, GCL, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Experience with distributed multi-tiered systems and algorithms.
• Working knowledge of caching (Redis, memcache) and messaging tools (MQ, Kafka).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and UCD Release.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of distributed storage technologies like NFS.
• Experience with dynamic resource management frameworks such as PCF.
