Description

You will serve as the senior SRE for the Salesforce integration application, managing backend components that sync data between Salesforce and DB2. Your scope includes Kubernetes workloads (MuleSoft, Java) and Kafka. You will collaborate with offshore SREs to support incidents, releases, and ad-hoc enhancements, focusing on metric analysis, alert creation, and dashboard updates. You will interact with technical architects and the Command Center during incident calls to address critical application questions for a broader audience. Your primary tools include Dynatrace and Splunk to ensure system observability. You will also work on a dedicated backlog to create SLOs, synthetics, and Dynatrace configurations, enhancing overall SRE maturity and application reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability and observability of the Salesforce-DB2 sync application, including MuleSoft, Java, and Kafka workloads.
• Lead incident management and production calls, providing technical answers to directors and the Command Center.
• Analyze metrics, create alerts, and update dashboards to support L2 operations and ad-hoc enhancements.
• Implement SLOs, synthetics, and Dynatrace configurations to improve SRE maturity and application reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps.
• Strong proficiency with Dynatrace and Splunk for monitoring and observability.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, MuleSoft, and Java.
• Experience managing Kafka workloads and message queues.
• Proven track record in incident management and troubleshooting complex backend systems.
• Ability to define and implement SLOs and synthetic monitoring strategies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for interacting with senior technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Salesforce integration architectures.
• Familiarity with DB2 database environments.
