Description

Own production support for AWS infrastructure and batch processing workloads, ensuring high availability and operational stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AWS environments and batch schedules, executing rapid triage and resolution of incidents and job failures.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to restore service during complex incidents and maintain structured communication.
• Support deployment activities, including pre/post-implementation checks and rollback execution.
• Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides to ensure operational continuity across shifts.
• Reduce repeat incidents through rigorous RCA and implementation of preventive actions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience supporting production workloads on AWS.
• Hands-on knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC networking.
• Ability to interpret AWS console/CLI outputs for real-time infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of enterprise batch scheduling concepts, including job dependencies, sequencing, retry logic, and cutoff management.
• Proficiency in writing and executing basic SQL queries for operational validation and incident troubleshooting.
• Experience with Python for automation tasks.
