Description

You will own operational stability and automation for critical platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated solutions to eliminate toil and maintain minimal system downtime.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and user incidents across applications and servers.
• Design and implement reusable infrastructure patterns, reviewing them continuously.
• Configure and manage monitoring and alerting using industry-standard tools.
• Partner with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to roll out application platforms.

Required Skills

• 7 to 12 years in hands-on application/middleware specialist roles.
• Strong infrastructure knowledge in Linux, Unix, Databases, Storage, and Networking.
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration platforms like OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python and Shell.
• Experience managing web servers (Apache/Nginx), including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong grasp of SRE Principles and associated tooling.
• Experience troubleshooting application issues and managing incidents.
• Familiarity with load balancers, web proxies, and storage platforms (NAS/SAN).

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to data pipeline technologies like Kafka, Redis, and Airflow.
• Experience with Big Data platforms like Hadoop.
