Description

You will own the health, availability, and performance of production systems in a banking environment. This role combines hands-on engineering with rigorous incident management and automation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production systems using Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana to ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 production incidents, coordinating with development teams for prioritized fixes.
• Implement and validate RFCs, performing pre- and post-deployment checks during traffic diversion.
• Develop monitoring dashboards, alerts, and automation scripts to reduce manual workload and improve visibility.
• Support on-call rotations and collaborate with engineering teams to adopt reliability best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Support, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Core Java.
• Proven experience with cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep familiarity with observability tools including Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana.
• Experience in L1/L2 support, incident management, and debugging in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Background in the banking or financial domain is required.
