Description

Provide production support and technical resolution for critical business applications within an agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Resolve production issues and critical job amends within strict 30-minute SLAs during processing windows.
• Code, test, and deliver high-quality changes to support horizontal mainframe and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements for Legal, Finance, Regulatory, and ED&S applications.
• Support distributed Linux/Java-based applications through scheduled shifts and weekend rotations.
• Participate in on-call rotations and work late shifts (12 PM - 10 PM MT).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical or production support roles.
• Proficiency with databases including Sybase, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Unix operating systems.
• Strong scripting capabilities using Python or Shell.
• Working knowledge of Java and .NET (including .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and Microservices).
• Experience or foundational understanding of Mainframe environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in production IT support roles.
• Direct exposure to distributed Linux/Java application environments.
