Description

You will own the reliability, configuration, and operations of production systems including VMs, network servers, and applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement scalable solutions for applications, infrastructure, and databases.
• Monitor and report on performance across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software incidents by running diagnostics and assessing impact.
• Execute capacity planning, hardware upgrades, and software upgrades.
• Develop logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure service level observability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in production systems operations.
• Java Development.
• Jenkins.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, Groovy, or GoLang.
• Experience with service level observability and metrics including MTTR, MTBR, MTD, SLO, SLI, and Error Budgets.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and creating runbooks/SOPs.
• Knowledge of container and container platform technologies.
• Experience implementing performance improvement solutions across applications and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Chaos Engineering tools and practices.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of application architecture and development experience with Java or .NET.
• Implementation experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Understanding of ITSM processes and support quality metrics.
