Description

Lead the transformation of IT operations toward an engineering-centric approach by designing and implementing scalable, reliable systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable services with a focus on availability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Define and implement SRE principles including incident management, monitoring, alerting, and automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure application resiliency and operational reliability.
• Build automation tools to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
• Analyze resource utilization and forecast capacity needs to ensure performance and cost-efficiency.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of hands-on SRE experience with cloud technologies and automation.
• Strong experience with AWS, including Control Tower, Project Setup, RDS, and SSO.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform (including state management).
• Experience setting up GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Linux command line.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting using Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, or ELK.
• Experience with APM tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• Ability to implement observability frameworks using programmatic SLI/SLO blueprints.
• Automation experience using Ansible or scripting languages for data refreshes, releases, and DB snapshots.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Java, Groovy-DSL, and YAML within microservices architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as CKA, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, or Google Cloud Professional.
