Description

Lead SRE operations for high-scale eCommerce services, owning reliability, incident response, and infrastructure automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets to maintain service reliability.
• Architect resilient multi-AZ and multi-region AWS deployments for zero-downtime operations.
• Own and evolve Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines and implement GitOps workflows for Kubernetes/EKS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK.
• Build and maintain Splunk APM dashboards, alerts, and runbooks while implementing distributed tracing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps roles.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services including EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, and IAM.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and Helm for microservices orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and optimization using Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Proficiency in monitoring and observability using Splunk APM and Splunk Cloud.
• Knowledge of distributed caching strategies involving Redis and Memcached.
• Understanding of PCI-DSS compliance, container security scanning, and least-privilege IAM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Akamai CDN configuration including edge rules, WAF, and TLS.
• Familiarity with chaos engineering and game-day exercises for fault tolerance validation.
