Description

You will own the reliability, performance, and security of the eCommerce platform across AWS and Kubernetes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets for all services.
• Architect resilient multi-AZ, multi-region AWS deployments for zero-downtime operations.
• Own Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines and implement GitOps workflows for microservices on EKS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK.
• Build Splunk APM dashboards, implement OpenTelemetry distributed tracing, and manage Akamai CDN configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps.
• Deep expertise with AWS Core Services including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, and KMS.
• Production operations with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, including Helm, HPA, and VPA.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline design and optimization using Jenkins.
• Experience with Splunk APM, Splunk Cloud, dashboards, and alerting.
• Knowledge of distributed caching strategies (Redis, Memcached) and Akamai CDN configuration.
• Understanding of security practices including PCI-DSS compliance, least-privilege IAM, and container security scanning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with chaos engineering and game-day exercises.
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and blameless post-mortems.
