SRE Manager

You will lead a cross-functional engineering team applying Site Reliability Engineering principles to in-house applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers to apply SRE principles, driving technical, business, and personal growth.
• Optimize operational overheads through observability and service automation.
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to measure service availability.
• Manage platforms to ensure they are performant, reliable, scalable, and secure.
• Estimate, refine, and prioritize team workloads within an agile environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams to achieve business goals.
• Strong background in software/system engineering and architecture within the cloud.
• Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle in cloud-based environments.
• Experience developing and managing RESTful API services.
• Proficiency in modern OO languages such as Java or .Net.
• Technical aptitude for understanding complex distributed systems.
• Proven workload management and organizational skills in an agile environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills working with multi-vendor technical and business teams.
• Hands-on approach to both development and management.
