Description

Design, implement, and maintain complex data systems supporting millions of customers using Cloud Native principles to ensure highly available, secure, performant, and scalable database systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and deploy services in Kubernetes clusters using Helm and Kustomize.
• Manage infrastructure changes on AWS, leveraging deep knowledge of AWS services to support multi-million user systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations for pre-production and production systems, writing and reviewing RCA documents to prevent incident recurrence.
• Drive operational excellence by creating playbooks, contributing to how-to articles, and reducing manual steps through automation.
• Contribute to system upgrades, deployment automation, monitoring enhancements, and security remediations including FMEA/Chaos testing.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of hands-on development and operational experience building and maintaining infrastructure in AWS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for DevOps automation and at least one programming language: Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Extensive experience with performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning.
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Wavefront, AppDynamics, Prometheus, or distributed tracing.
