You will own production stability by debugging code, automating processes, and resolving incidents. You will design and test Java applications while ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Java applications using Spring and Hibernate.
• Identify defects and trends through code debugging and log analysis.
• Manage incidents and communicate technical solutions to application owners.
• Automate manual processes and alerts in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Build and improve run books to minimize operational errors.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in development or production environments.
• Core Java proficiency.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Unix troubleshooting capabilities.
• Scripting experience in Shell script, Perl, JavaScript, or Python.
• RDBMS experience with Oracle, Sybase, or DB2.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and observe failure patterns.
• Strong communication skills for articulating technical issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
• Knowledge of Slang and SecDB.
