Description

You will lead Site Reliability Engineering efforts focusing on automation, monitoring, and cloud migration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate enterprise business transaction reporting and monitoring using Shell and Perl scripting across finance and billing domains.
• Design and develop distributed, service-oriented microservice architectures.
• Integrate security scanning reports from SonarQube and Fortify directly into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Conduct regression and performance testing of services using SOAPUI, Postman, and Newman.
• Manage the migration of services from bare metal and JVM environments to cloud-native platforms.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Go, Perl, and Shell scripting for automation tasks.
• Expertise with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Gitlab, and Cloudbees.
• Strong experience building and operating microservices and microapps in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep knowledge of monitoring applications using AppDynamics, APM, and Splunk for REST/SOAP services.
• Experience working within Agile software development cycles.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating legacy bare metal/JVM environments to cloud-native platforms.
• Background in finance or billing domain automation.
