Description

You will own the reliability and automation of scalable cloud architectures on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage event-driven, scalable architectures using Azure cloud services.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated provisioning.
• Drive SRE practices including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and postmortems.
• Implement observability frameworks (logging, metrics, tracing) to proactively detect issues.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and champion automation to reduce manual operational interventions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in relevant engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in Azure services: Event Hub, Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, Data Lake, Synapse, AKS.
• Proficiency in Terraform for IaC and cloud resource automation.
• Solid understanding of SRE concepts: reliability engineering, error budgets, incident management.
• Experience with monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
