Description

Build, deploy, and manage video encoding and delivery applications on AWS and GCP, owning the evolution of the video partner delivery platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build cloud-based microservices and asynchronous solutions for video processing workflows.
• Streamline CI/CD solutions with development and Operations teams.
• Lead projects optimizing performance and mentoring junior engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers to maintain and evolve the video partner delivery platform.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience.
• Expertise in Golang for writing microservices from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.
• Proficiency with container technology, including Docker.
• Experience building Web APIs in Golang and using MySQL or Postgres.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or Argo.
• Experience with DynamoDB.
• Experience developing and maintaining cloud-based video workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GCP services.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
