Description

You will own the operational stability and automation of cloud platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Deliver incident management and advanced L1/L2 support for internal applications on AWS.
• Act as the initial contact point for developers via ticketing systems.
• Implement and utilize automation to ensure environment scalability.
• Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and security.
• Investigate issues thoroughly to identify root causes and document recurrence prevention strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system engineering and cloud operations.
• Expertise in AWS and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in SDLC with the ability to read Java and Python code.
• Scripting proficiency in Unix Shell and Python.
• Experience with database management (Oracle, Cassandra, CockroachDB) including tuning and monitoring.
• Familiarity with messaging middleware like Kafka or MQ.
• System administration skills across Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience supporting applications running on Tomcat.
