Description

You will be a core member of an SRE support team, using technology to automate and maintain the resilience, performance, and availability of Digital Sales & Marketing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Write code, test cases, and work with API specs to maintain platform resilience.
• Proactively monitor application performance using Splunk, App dashboards, and Dynatrace.
• Identify, communicate, mitigate, and escalate risks from operational errors and data integrity issues.
• Drive efficiency and optimization by identifying opportunities to remove toil and adopt new technologies.
• Influence SRE practices across teams to establish a strong DevOps culture.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
• 10+ years in Production support or SRE focusing on platform health improvement.
• Strong experience supporting Web/API platforms built with Java/JavaScript stacks (Spring/Spring Boot, Angular/React).
• Working knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, relational, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with cloud and legacy infrastructure (on-prem & 3rd party) such as Azure or PCF.
• Hands-on expertise with automated testing, process automation, and building dashboards using APM tools.
• Working knowledge of monitoring tools including Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and API styles (SOAP, REST, Microservices).
• Working knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Postman.
