Key Responsibilities

• Participate in application technical design processes with architects on internet and eCommerce development projects
• Test web services using SOAP UI and other service testing tools while understanding SOA architecture concepts
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, processes, and best practices for QA initiatives
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases with associated test data based on functional requirements
• Identify automation opportunities to improve testing efficiency and contribute to scripting standards
• Write automation scripts using JavaScript, Node.js, and Java while participating in peer reviews

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality assurance experience with developing automation frameworks and automated tests
• 3+ years of programming experience in JavaScript, Node.js, and Java
• 2+ years working in Agile/Scrum environments with demonstrated team collaboration
• Experience with backend testing tools including REST Assured and Supertest
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, GitLab, or comparable solutions
• Proficiency with Git for source control and familiarity with JUnit and TestNG frameworks
• Experience with Docker containerization and understanding of enterprise software architecture
• Knowledge of Queue, Topic, JSON, XML concepts and web services testing methodologies
