Description

Develop and optimize firmware for SSD devices, owning the lifecycle from hardware bring-up to final release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain low-level firmware for NAND, Flash, and SSD devices using C and C++.
• Perform hardware bring-up for micro-controllers and System-on-Chips (SoCs).
• Debug embedded software within hardware environments to ensure stability and performance.
• Optimize firmware code for SSD devices to meet strict latency and throughput requirements.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in firmware development.
• Strong expertise with NAND and Flash memory architectures.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with micro-controllers or SoC development.
• Proven track record in hardware bring-up and debugging.
• Solid understanding of embedded software development principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SSD device firmware development specifically.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification in Engineering or Computer Science.
