Design and implement SSIS packages to extract data from Duck Creek aligned sources and load into Duck Creek target schemas, including staging and reconciliation layers.
Develop sourcetotarget mapping and transformation logic, including cleansing, derived fields, and reference data alignment keys/relationships.
Build repeatable migration runs for dry runs, dress rehearsals, and final cutover execution with robust operational readiness.
Implement data quality validation automation using SQL-based reconciliation checks (counts, totals, referential integrity, sampling, and exception reporting).
Provide robust error handling, audit logging, and exception quarantine to support triage and reruns; contribute to automated testing at database and functional validation levels.
Skills Required:
5+ years of relevant ETL/data engineering experience delivering production migrations.
Hands-on ETL/data engineering experience with SSIS and SQL Server T-SQL for migration delivery.
Strong SSIS package design expertise across Data Flow, Control Flow, error handling, logging configurations, and deployment execution patterns.
Experience handling large data volumes with partitioning/parallelism and performance tuning (buffers, lookups, and network I/O awareness).
SQL performance skills including query optimization, indexing basics, bulk load patterns, and avoiding SSIS anti-patterns (e.g., excessive sorts, row-by-row commands).
Good to Have:
Experience with Duck Creek Insights Clarity or XML-to-relational conversion approaches for XML payload modeling and validation.
Azure stack familiarity including Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Data Lake for hybrid migration pipelines.
CI/CD experience for SSIS deployments, release management, and automated execution monitoring.
Education:
B.E. in Computer Engineering (or equivalent degree)
