Description

Design and manage end-to-end ETL processes and data warehouse integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design ETL data flows and architecture to extract, migrate, and transform data from SQL Server, Oracle, Access, and Excel.
• Develop, debug, and test SSIS packages using script tasks, breakpoints, and data viewers.
• Implement error and event handling through precedence constraints, logging, and checkpoints.
• Deploy packages using Project or Package Deployment Models with parameters, environments, XML, and SQL Server configurations.
• Monitor and tune performance using execution plans, index tuning, and indexed views.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ETL development and data migration.
• Expertise in SSIS and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions.
• Experience with XML and package configuration.
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning and execution plans.
• Ability to manage SQL Server Agent jobs, alerts, and scheduling via DTExec commands.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
