You will lead data pipeline development and mentor junior team members to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development of data pipelines and manage project delivery.
• Decompose user stories, design features, and prioritize tasks alongside product owners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align requirements and support deployment automation.
• Identify technology risks and dependencies early to establish mitigation plans.
• Create and maintain production support artifacts to ensure smooth hand-offs.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of data engineering experience.
• 5+ years of project lead experience in a matrixed organization.
• 3+ years of experience working in the financial services industry.
• Expertise in ETL development, MS SQL Server, and T-SQL/Stored Procedures.
• Proficiency with SSIS and SSRS.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and Operational Data principles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Experience driving outcomes in an onshore/offshore delivery model.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Python coding skills.
• Experience with GitHub, Bamboo, and Liquibase.
• Proficiency in cloud-based technologies, specifically GCP.
• Experience with trading and data platforms for financial services.
