Description

You will design, develop, and maintain data warehouse extraction, transformation, and loading functions for credit risk management systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and create data warehouse architectures and all related ETL functions.
• Build scaffolding and frameworks for staging and transforming datasets.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement technical resolutions.
• Maintain and resolve existing SSIS SQL projects and database-related issues.
• Collaborate with senior integration staff to define design, priority, and build requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering and development.
• Expertise in MS SQL Server development and strong T-SQL knowledge.
• Minimum 5 years of experience writing DDL/DML SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions.
• Proficiency with SSIS for ETL processes.
• Experience writing SQL queries against Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Tidal scheduling.
• Proven ability in data modelling.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve production bottlenecks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Full-time development experience using Python.
• Experience with Python application frameworks such as Django, Flask, Pyramid, or Tornado.
