Description

You will own the automation framework for UI, CLI, and backend testing scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium or Protractor for UI and CLI applications.
• Develop shell scripts and automate backend user scenarios.
• Execute SQL queries and joins to report data from relational databases.
• Troubleshoot issues within development and testing scripts.
• Manage defects and user stories through the full lifecycle using Jira.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems, including user permissions, groups, and command-line filters.
• Experience with shell scripting and tools like Putty.
• Ability to write SQL queries and manage relational database connections.
• Experience working within Agile sprint cycles and bug tracking workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, Java scripting, or Docker and containers.
• Knowledge of Networking, Storage systems, Replicator, or Disaster Recovery.
