Design and develop scalable APIs, microservices, and web applications for cloud and on-prem environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable APIs, microservices, and web applications using Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Deploy solutions using AWS EKS, Lambda, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers on Java and API standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver secure solutions.

Required Skills

• 6+ years developing enterprise solutions with Java (Spring Boot, J2EE) and Python.
• 6+ years designing and managing REST APIs.
• 4+ years building microservices in AWS or similar clouds.
• Proficiency in serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, Redis, SQS, and API Gateways.
• Experienced in CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Git-based SDLC tools.
• Skilled in working with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, DocumentDB) and Swagger.
• Strong background in threat modeling, risk assessments, and security protocols (OAuth, SAML).
• Proven experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apigee.
